Temporary Faculty Positions in Counseling & Psychological Services at Kutztown University, PA

The University is located between the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University is searching for faculty counselors who have had extensive experience with diverse populations.

The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time temporary faculty-counselor position at the Instructor level for the remainder of the 2018-2019 academic year. A Master’s degree in Counseling or related field and appropriate licensure are required for this clinical position; doctoral degree is preferred. Previous college counseling experience is also preferred. The position requires a counseling generalist with excellent interpersonal skills who will provide time-limited individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, outreach, consultation, referral, and supervision of practicum students in a team-oriented setting. As faculty with primary duties outside of the classroom, counseling faculty are also expected to perform in the areas of scholarly growth and service.
