Job Function: The Visiting Professor position in the Counseling Psychology program is a 1- year, non-tenure track, Academic Year (9 months/year) position, renewable for a second year. This individual provides academic advising to students and coordinates the clinical training of future licensed professional counselors in our fully online Mental Health Counseling master’s degree program. The Visiting Professor provides excellent teaching and supervision to future psychologists and counselors in the Counseling Psychology program, using culturallycompetent and social justice oriented pedagogies. The individual oversees, coordinates, and participates in the transition of existing courses in the Mental Health Counseling program, using Quality Matters principles, to develop online courses that provide a unified look and feel for students in the online Mental Health Counseling program. Review of applications will begin on June 26, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. Start date is August 2024.
